SUMMARY:Patriots' Day Concert
DESCRIPTION:This concert will be a joint collaboration between the Lexington Bicentennial Band and the Lexington Pops Chorus. It will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States and will be entitled “America at War/America at Peace”. The first half will feature music that set the tone and supported the country in times of war. The second half will feature music that celebrates the beauty our land. On Monday\, April 20th\, you can explore four unique sites from Lexington History Museums to learn more about this small farming town that ignited a war for independence.  \n\n\n\nStart with a scavenger hunt around the Battle Green for young historians\, beginning from the Lexington Depot or Buckman Tavern. Then\, meet living historians at Buckman Tavern to learn more about the ordinary people of 1775\, or at Munroe Tavern to hear the British Redcoats’ perspective on the day.
