At almost midnight, we had none other than Paul Revere himself stop by Lexington’s #CountdownCalendar to change the number from 1 to 0 — marking that in just a few hours, the Reenactment of the Battle of Lexington will begin.
Revere’s daring Midnight Ride is legendary — but what he actually said that night was, “The Regulars are coming out!” That urgent warning, shouted in the dark across colonial towns, set into motion the historic resistance that began right here in Lexington.
Join us on the Green before sunrise for the dramatic Battle of Lexington reenactment. Witness where the first shots were fired, where history began, and where — 250 years later — we remember, honor, and carry the story forward.
