50 Days to Go

50 Days to Go – Honoring Those Who Were Here Then and Now!

Today, Lexington came together to celebrate a special milestone—50 Days to Go in our #CountdownTo250! As we inch closer to April 19, we took a moment to honor those who were here 50 years ago in 1975, whether as residents or visitors.

We were thrilled to have so many familiar faces join us for two special group photos, one in the morning and one in the evening. These longtime Lexingtonians have seen the town grow and change while carrying forward the traditions, values, and community spirit that define Lexington. Their presence today was a testament to the lasting connections that make this town so special.

Adding to the excitement, WBZ, NBC, and our own LexMedia were there to capture the moment, ensuring that this historic gathering will be remembered for years to come.

As we prepare to commemorate 250 years since the Battle of Lexington, we’re seeking inspiring narratives that highlight the enduring impact of this pivotal moment in American history. Whether through family ties, local heritage, educational experiences, community events, historical interests, or cultural resonance, we invite you to share your story.

In as many words as you see fit, contribute an individual anecdote, historical insight, or personal reflection that showcases the diverse ways in which the legacy of this momentous event continues to shape our lives today.

Share your present. Honor the past. Inspire the future. Submit your story at Lex250.org/yourstory.
