Each of them made the momentous decision to become an American citizen — not by birth, but by choice. In doing so, they’ve helped shape Lexington into a more vibrant and inclusive town. Their journeys, cultures, and contributions are a testament to the evolving story of America — and to the ideals that continue to inspire people across the world.
As we prepare for Lexington’s upcoming Naturalization Ceremony on April 22, we honor the individuals pictured here and the many others like them who have joined in the great project of American democracy.
