LEXINGTON — The WCVB Newscenter 5 Eyeopener was in Lexington bright and early on Monday morning to preview the upcoming slate of events for Patriots’ Day Weekend.
Reporter Brianna Borghi was live from the Countdown Calendar to interview Lex250 Commission Vice Chair Mona Roy about what’s in store in Lexington this week.
“For us, what makes it very poignant is that this is not just our celebration, but rather America’s celebration. This is the first shot of the American Revolution,” Vice Chair Roy said. “This is where we started America, and it is thanks to the sacrifice of those brave men, and the women who were there to support them, that we have the country today.”
