In the final days leading up to April 19, the Lex250 Commission would like to highlight our members who have dedicated an incredible amount of time to making our 250th anniversary commemoration a success.
Today, we’re highlighting Noah Michelson!

What specific areas of the Commission’s work are you most passionate about?
Creating a strong partnership with our local business community, and creating items to promote and commemorate this exciting anniversary.
What do you think is the most important aspect of commemorating this milestone?
Just as important as commemorating what happened on the Battle Green 250 years ago is celebrating everything that has happened since. Lexington has seen tremendous change in the past two and a half centuries, both within our town as well as in the world around us. This is a great opportunity to both examine at our past as well as look forward to the next 250 years and beyond.
What event or moment are you most looking forward to as part of the 250th anniversary commemoration?
I’m most looking forward to seeing the payoff of all of the years of hard work that have gone into making these celebrations possible. This has been an ongoing effort of not just Commission members and Town Staff, but countless members of the community who have selflessly lent their time and expertise to making this year incredibly special.
