Shadaj: Continuing the Tradition of Excellence

After celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2025 with a grand event, Shadaj is gearing up for the next All day Indian Classical Music Festival on March 28, 2026 in the town of Lexington, MA.

The 2026 festival is poised to deliver an unparalleled experience, maintaining Shadaj’s tradition of meticulous planning and flawless execution. It boasts a stellar lineup of Indian classical music masters. Stalwarts such as the celebrated Padmashri Dr. Ashwini Bhide Deshpande, the esteemed Padmabhushan Pandit Ajay Chakraborty, and the Grammy Award winner Rakesh Chaurasia will grace the stage. In keeping with Shadaj’s long-standing commitment to the future of Indian music, the festival will also feature promising young talent. Following a history of championing artists before they became household names, Shadaj is proud to introduce the rising Sarod star, Prateek Shrivastav, to the US audience.

The festival will run all day on March 28, 2026 from 10 AM till 10 PM. For the audience’s convenience, food vendors will be on-site throughout the day, offering a variety of delicious Indian cuisine during designated meal breaks.

Shadaj’s journey has been one of enriching lives and fostering a sense of belonging. Shadaj is a premier non-profit organization promoting Indian classical music in the Greater Boston area. Shadaj doesn’t just put on concerts; they craft experiences. From hand-picking world-class artists to curating the perfect performance space, Shadaj ensures every concert is a memorable event.
