All ages.

France helped America succeed in overthrowing a repressive monarchy which began what is known as the Age of Revolutions in a Global Context, 1760-1840. This program is inspired by the French influence on the success of the American Revolution, and also marks a turning in point in the revolution that France helped finance – Washington’s famous crossing of the Delaware and attack of the Hessian mercenaries in New Jersey on Christmas Day.
