21 Days to Go

At 3 Weeks to Go – we highlight Lexington Youth Lacrosse, a cornerstone of the community that introduces kids to the excitement and teamwork of lacrosse.

Much like Lexington itself, the sport of lacrosse has a long history – first recorded in the 1600’s! Lacrosse was first introduced in Lexington High School in 1976, and later in the 1990’s, Lexington Youth Lacrosse was born!

Lexington Youth Lacrosse is a non-profit volunteer-run boys and girls organization dedicated to introducing, teaching, and expanding “the fastest game on two feet!”

They offer programs for grades Pre-K through 8 and have developed a comprehensive curriculum that is fun, competitive, and instructional, and is intended to teach age-appropriate skills in an integrated manner that builds across each youth age level and will prepare the players to play at the high school and college level.

Registration is still open for all grades (Pre-K through Grade 2 play FREE!), and our season starts tomorrow, March 30, so don’t wait if you plan to join!
