LEXINGTON — When the smoke clears and the echoes of muskets cease from the Battle Reenactment and the Army units and paratroopers deploy elsewhere after the Battle Green Rededication, and once the Lexington 2025 Patriots’ Day Parade units have marched on, the Lex250 Commission and the Town of Lexington invite the community to Hastings Park for a Patriotic Picnic in the Park on Patriots’ Day Monday.
All are welcome to attend a family-friendly community picnic packed with food from local restaurants, a beer garden, and unforgettable musical performances from members of the world-renowned Boston Pops with Keith Lockhart conducting, followed by rock band Malin.

The event is FREE and open to all! Attendees are welcome to bring their own picnic lunch and enjoy the event, or there is a large variety of options available to pre-order and pickup on site at Hastings Park.
Patriotic attire is encouraged!
There is a limited number of reserved seating under a tent, or attendees may bring blankets and lawn chairs.
Meal pickup starts at 11:15 a.m. Members of the Boston Pops will play from 11:45 until about 12:15. Paul Revere and William Dawes are expected to arrive on horseback around 1 p.m., and they will interrupt the Malin concert with dramatic and revolutionary news!
With historical reenactors, food, fun, and some of the world’s best music, the Patriotic Picnic in the Park promises to be a memorable event for all as Lexington rounds out an unforgettable Patriots’ Day Weekend 2025.

Around 1 p.m. | 🏇 Paul Revere & William Dawes Arrive!
The event will run Monday, April 21 from 11 a.m. to about 2:30 p.m. All ages are welcome. Attendees do not need to be Lexington residents to attend or to order seats and food. Tent seating limited to the first 500 registrants.
