Celebrate the courageous women of the Civil Rights Movement and their pivotal role in advancing our civil liberties. On the 30th anniversary of Martin Luther King Day as a National Day of Service, and the 60th anniversary of the passage of the Voting Rights Act, we honor the women whose contributions to justice and equality have often been overlooked.

RSVP is encouraged, not required (click this link)

✨ Event Highlights:

  • Keynote Speaker: Loretta J. Ross will be reflecting on the legacy of these trailblazing women. She is Associate Professor at Smith College, public intellectual, inducted into the National Women’s Hall of Fame this year, and is a 2022 recipient of the MacArthur Foundation Genius Award.
  • Exhibit: Walk through and discover key figures of the movement
