Meet the Redcoats at Munroe Tavern
April 21 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

The British Regular Army was one of the most powerful military forces in the world in the 18th century. But in the course of one fateful day, their luck changed. On April 19th, 1775, 750 soldiers set out on a grueling 40-mile march, and walked straight into a revolution. In Lexington and Concord, they fought with locals intent on thwarting their mission, and fled back to Boston chased by thousands of American soldiers. Munroe Tavern became an important resting point on their journey. Stop by and meet members of His Majesty’s recreated 10th Regiment of Foot to see military drilling and learn more about the lives of our forgotten foes.
