Citizenship Ceremony — Patriots’ Day Weekend 2025
In partnership with Lexington History Museums, a Naturalization Ceremony on the Battle Green formally welcomed 49 new U.S. citizens representing 28 nations into the American family. Civic leaders and community voices offered reflections, while the Minute Men Honor Guard presented the colors, closing the weekend with solemnity and purpose.
Watching individuals consciously choose to become American was a powerful reminder that freedom, democracy, and civic courage are not abstractions—they are lived commitments, renewed by each generation, and honored through participation, service, and belonging..
