Moments That Made 2025 Unforgettable – #4: Ken Burns Conversation

🎥 Ken Burns in Lexington

Battin Hall hosted a special screening of clips from the upcoming PBS documentary The American Revolution, by Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein, and David Schmidt. The evening featured a moderated panel led by Ramille Romulus, an 8th-grade social studies teacher, with thoughtful, student-generated questions guiding the conversation.

Approximately 400 students from Lexington, Concord, Arlington, Lincoln, and Minuteman Technical High School attended, joined by hundreds of community members and invited guests. Hosted by Lex250, the conversation with Ken Burns brought the American Revolution vividly to life—his insights and storytelling sparking reflection, curiosity, and dialogue across generations.

This event set the tone for the month-after-month programming planned for 2026, grounding Lex250 in education, civic engagement, and a shared exploration of our revolutionary past.
