Save the Dates: MLK Week of Service 2026

Lexington’s MLK Week of Service kicks off this weekend with a sneak peek at the Munroe Center’s Illumination Night on January 10, leading into a week of reflection, service, and community engagement, January 12 to January 19.

Following the sneak peek on January 10, join the Unity Walk from Emery Park to the VO250 Arch, where we will reveal the progress of VO250 and celebrate the spirit of giving back as a community.

This is just the start of Lex250’s month-after-month 2026 programming, featuring volunteer projects, storytelling, movies, activism, and our signature Sunday concert. These events invite us to dig deeper into what it means to be American, showing that America wasn’t born in a single moment—and that the work of building a more perfect union continues today.
