The Battlegreen Run reminds us what true community looks like — neighbors coming together in the spirit of health, generosity, and shared purpose. Now in its 30th year, this beloved Lexington tradition welcomes runners and walkers of all ages to take part in the 5K run, 5K/2K walk, or the “almost” 10K course (about 9.857 km). Prefer to go at your own pace? Participate virtually between November 2–8 and join the movement from wherever you are.
This event isn’t just about fitness — it’s about giving back. Every registration directly supports local nonprofits, with 100% of proceeds benefiting Lexington-area organizations that serve our community. In-person finishers will receive a special 30-year commemorative medal, and the day begins with the national anthem and a musket salute from the Lexington Minute Men — a nod to our town’s enduring spirit and unity.
Every volunteer hour also helps Lexington reach its goal of 250,000 hours of community service by July 4, 2026. Join us in supporting this VO250 Partner and help keep one of Lexington’s most meaningful traditions thriving.
