Today’s #CalendarKeepers for the #CountdownTo250 represent Scottish Rite Masons from fifteen U. S. states: Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Vermont, and Wisconsin.
In the early 1970s, Scottish Rite Freemasons in the fifteen states of the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction donated over $5 million to help build the Scottish Rite Masonic Museum & Library (formerly d.b.a. Museum of Our National Heritage and National Heritage Museum), a museum of American history, Freemasonry, and fraternalism on the Scottish Rite’s Lexington campus.
Join us in celebrating all that this organization has accomplished in Lexington and beyond! Scottish Rite Masons have not only contributed to the rich tapestry of our nation’s history but also played a pivotal role in preserving it through the Scottish Rite Masonic Museum & Library. As we anticipate the museum’s 50th anniversary in April 2025, we honor their dedication to historical preservation and community engagement. Stay tuned for more on this milestone celebration! 🏛️✨ #Lex250 #HistoryInTheMaking #CommunityHeritage #MasonicHistory
