🎉 Bonus Post: 75 Days to Go! Honoring the Scottish Rite Masonic Museum & Library
For Day 75 of the #CountdownTo250, we celebrate the staff and volunteers of the Scottish Rite Masonic Museum & Library, a cultural treasure that has called Lexington home since 1975.
Originally known as the Museum of Our National Heritage, the museum was founded by Scottish Rite Freemasons of the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction and opened its doors on April 20, 1975, aligning with the 200th anniversary commemorations of the Battle of Lexington.
Now, as Lexington approaches its 250th anniversary, the museum is preparing for a milestone of its own—50 years in our community! On April 13, 2025, the museum will launch a yearlong celebration with a rededication ceremony and the opening of a new exhibition:
📜 “Protest & Promise: The American Revolution in Lexington”
