Lex250 Launches Official Website

New Website to Serve as Go-To Resource for All Lex250 News and Information

The Lex250 Commission, Chair Suzie Barry, and the Town of Lexington are proud to announce that the Official Lex250 website has launched this week, and has invited members of the community to share their personal connections with the American Revolution through the site.

The official website, located at https://lex250.org/, will serve as the go-to resource for all news and information regarding the Lex250 Celebrations. The site also features a modern design that details the history and lasting legacy of the Battle of Lexington and displays important information about events and programming for Lex250.

Additional features include:

  • A countdown to the semiquincentennial celebration of the Battle of Lexington on April 19, 2025.
  • A robust Events Calendar that highlights all Lex250 events as well as events from local organizations and businesses.
  • A fillable form where organizations and businesses can submit information about future events to be included on the calendar.
  • Your Story – A place for community members to share their stories and connections to the American Revolution.
  • Pages dedicated to the history and legacy of the Battle of Lexington and the importance of the 250th anniversary on April 19, 2025.
  • Lists of things to do in Lexington and lodging accommodations for anyone traveling to the town for the various celebrations.
  • A news page with all the latest on Lex250, including a place to sign up to receive email alerts about new posts.
  • Information about how to volunteer for and donate to Lex250.

“While Lexington is a small town, we are rich in both stories and history,” Lex250 Commission Chair Suzie Barry said. “With the launch of our official Lex250 website, I encourage all residents, both current and former, to reflect on their connection to the American Revolution and to contact us via the Your Story page on the website. With powerful tools such as these, we can share our stories with the world.”

The website will be continuously updated with new events, news items, features and important information from now until the end of the Lex250 Celebrations in July 2026.

In addition to the website, Lex250 has also recently launched pages on several social media platforms including Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. Follow, like and share to stay up-to-date on all things Lex250!
