40 Days to Go – Honoring the LHS Class of 1985!
As we continue the #CountdownTo250, today we celebrate the Lexington High School Class of 1985—marking 40 days to go in honor of their upcoming 40th Reunion on April 5, 2025!
LHS in the mid-’80s was a place of strong traditions, school spirit, and unforgettable memories. Back then, the school was divided into A, B, C Houses and D, E, F Houses, with the Main Building (G) and the Science Building rounding out the campus. The cafeterias were spread across C, F, and G Houses, where students gathered daily to catch up with friends.
The Class of ‘85 witnessed an incredible year in LHS athletics. The football team was on the ‘Road to Foxboro,’ while the boys’ soccer team made it all the way to the State Finals, and boys’ basketball fought their way to the Semi-Finals. The school spirit extended beyond the field, with the Marching Band, Majorettes, and Flag Troupe bringing energy and tradition to every game.
Beyond sports, LHS was a hub for artistic and academic excellence. Students contributed to publications like Yearbook, Musket, and Folio, while musicians found their place in Orchestra and Mixed Chorus. Every corner of campus held a piece of what made Lexington High School a special place for the Class of 1985.
As reunion plans come together, the memories of those years still shine bright. For more information about the upcoming 40th Reunion, visit the LHS Class of 1985 Facebook group (@lhs.eightyfive).
