Today’s #CalendarKeepers for the #CountdownTo250 are the Sai Family of Lexington, followers of the spiritual teachings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Guided by the principle of “Love All, Serve All,” this group has become an integral part of the Lexington community, making a difference through their selfless acts of service.
Locally, the Sai Family brings joy and support by singing for residents at nursing homes, offering a soup kitchen service every Saturday, organizing blood drives in partnership with the Red Cross, and providing winter care packages and Thanksgiving baskets for those in need. They also host free medical clinics to support the health and well-being of community members.
As we approach Lexington’s 250th anniversary, the Sai Family’s ongoing dedication to service is a beautiful reflection of the compassion and unity that make our town a special place. Their efforts remind us that community thrives on shared responsibility and kindness.
