🌟 Today, we highlight the AAPI Banners (lexaapi.org) team as our #CalendarKeepers for the #CountdownTo250! 📆✨ In a wonderful collaboration, reps from multiple AAPI cultural groups of Lexington (BALex, CAAL, CALex, IAL, JPLEX, & KoLEX) came together to create public banners celebrating the contributions of these to our nation. 🏮🎎
Each banner showcases a significant historical event or a person who has made notable contributions to society. These vibrant banners are displayed along Mass. Avenue in Lexington Center and at Cary Library throughout the month of May, in honor of AAPI Heritage Month. This initiative not only enriches our community’s understanding of this important AMERICAN 🇺🇸 history but also fosters a sense of pride and inclusion.
